Munting Balay Loft Cabin: A Featured Cabin
A 3.3 x 5.6 Meter Tiny Home for Compact Living
This 3.3 x 5.6 meter tiny home by BALAI Cabins shows how a small footprint can become a complete and functional living space. Created for couples who want a quiet countryside retreat, the cabin combines compact planning, warm interiors, and essential amenities within a simple modular structure.
The layout includes a living and dining area for two, a compact kitchenette with sink and appliance provisions, a sleeping loft, a study or work area, wardrobe storage, and a toilet and bath. Large windows and glass openings bring in natural light, while the high ceiling helps the interior feel more open despite its limited size.
Inside, the cabin uses practical finishes such as SPC flooring, clean countertops, modern fixtures, neutral tones, and simple storage solutions. The result is a small home that feels calm, efficient, and comfortable without relying on unnecessary space.
Ergonomic Design and Complete Amenities
Munting Balay is planned to make a small home easier to use every day. Counter heights, outlets, lighting, storage, and furniture placement are considered so the space feels practical and comfortable. Built-in storage and multi-use furniture help maximize the cabin without making the interior feel crowded.
The cabin may also include hot and cold water provisions through a multipoint water heating system, cooling system provisions, smart home options, and selected off-grid upgrades such as solar panels, rainwater harvesting, outdoor jacuzzi, and Starlink internet connection. A small deck can extend the living area outdoors, creating a simple space for countryside views and a stronger connection to the surrounding landscape.
